Privacy Policy

What we collect. Your name, email, university, city, bio, and (optionally) phone number and social media links, along with any listings or requests you post and photos you upload.

What is public. Listing and request details (photos, price, city, description) are visible to everyone, including people who are not signed in — this is what lets your posts show up in Google search results. Your phone number and social links are only shared with someone once you accept their application.

How we use your data. Solely to operate CoRoom: matching you with roommates, sending you email notifications about your applications, and keeping the platform safe (e.g. reviewing reports).

Data storage. Your data is stored securely with our hosting provider (Supabase) and is not sold to third parties or used for advertising.

Your rights. You can edit your profile at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from your Profile page.
